We recommend renaming your backup folder to include the game title in the file name. Press the Command/ Apple and V keys on your keyboard to paste your saved games backup folder.Navigate to the place where you wish to save your backup copy of your saved games.Press the Command/ Apple and C keys on your keyboard.Open the folder for The Sims 3 or The Sims 4.From your Finder window, open your Documents folder.Open a Finder window by clicking on the Finder icon on your Dock (looks like a blue smiley face).
If you need to restore your saved games, simply copy your backup folder and paste it in the game’s file directory, making sure to first rename the backup folder to match the original folder name of Saves. You should now have created a copy of your saved games. Right-click on your Desktop, USB drive, or other location where you wish to save your backup games, and select Paste.Right-click on the Saves folder and select Copy.You should see a folder named Saves.
